At Wassmuffin we are genuinely one big family. We train hard but we laugh hard too. We want to help people. All sorts of people in all sorts of ways. We are friendly and welcoming to all. We understand that some people find coming to a new gym daunting and we do all we can to make you feel at ease in this environment.

We have a great amount of selected open gym time. This means you can come in and help yourself to using any of the equipment we have to hand. A great selection of bags. Wall bags and speedballs. Use of our ring. A fantastic selection of fitness equipment including sandbells, vipers, med balls, steps, free weights, TRX, Kettlebells and much more.

Forgotten your equipment? No problem we will have a selection of gloves, pads, shin and head guards and wraps to hire for a small fee (This is to ensure they are well looked after and can be replaced when damaged – of course there is no charge for pads used during classes)

We are very lucky to be able to offer you ladies and gents changing rooms which will both have a toilet a shower and room to comfortably get changed and keep belongings.

This becomes particularly handy after our early morning bootcamp sessions for anyone who need to get straight to work or for any of our classes or private sessions meaning you can leave the gym looking as fresh if not fresher than when you arrive. No one need to ever know you’d been working out like a demon. All we ask is you leave this area exactly how you would like to find it.

Although we are one of the cheapest gyms in Bournemouth for pay as you go classes as we understand shift work or family commitments or working away doesn’t always fit in with your training schedule, we still offer a very flexible membership system.

Our booking system is called “MINDBODY”, it’s an App you can download on your phone to check our schedule and book classes. As a new customer over 16 years old, you are entitled to our special offer (£30 for 30 days), you get 12 sessions to use as you pleased for 30 days which is the best option for you to try any of our classes.

Unfortunately, this offer doesn’t apply to kids or juniors and there is no trial sessions, if you just want to try a class then you have to book it for £10 but if you do so, the system will not give you the opportunity to have our special offer anymore as you will no longer be seen as a new customer, so please choose wisely.

Download the app from the Appstore or GooglePlay (MINDBODY APP) then login to it using your Facebook profile or your email address.  Once you have done this, search for our gym “Wassmuffin Martial Arts Academy” and click on the little heart so it always comes up when you login.  The special offer will come up right away and you can view our schedule to book any of our classes. You then just have to enter your bank details and you good to go.

We always suggest, the Muay thai bootcamp or Muay Thai fundamentals classes for beginners. if you can’t make any of them, feel free to come to any class you can but expect the level to be a bit higher in normal classes.

We have classes for ladies who wish to just be around lovely women while training, if you like to just be in a smaller class with girls then look for our “Ladies Thai Fit” classes also showing on our time table.

Once your special offer has expired, your can select the following options on the app:

  • PAYG £10 per class
  • 5 class pass for £40 per month
  • 12 classes for £60 per month
  • Unlimited classes for £90 per month
  • Unlimited single parent deal for £40 per month “For this deal your kid must have a membership with us already”

Kids and Juniors membership deals:

  • PAYG £10 per class
  • Unlimited classes £70 per month
  • Twin Package “2 siblings living together” £119.22
  • 3 Siblings package £162.22
